ABOUT XPRESENSE

Xpresense LLC (Virginia, USA) is a privately held  product development company, founded in 2003 by Robert "Tommy" Baum and James E. Curry, focused on bringing to market next-generation technological solutions for the music equipment industry. Our vision for Xpresense is to quickly move ideas from the drawing board to the marketplace, and do so in a manner that continuously builds a brand.

The Company’s achievements to date follow closely on a pattern of successful cooperation formed while the Managing Partners worked together at Bell Atlantic/Verizon Communications. For Bell Atlantic, the Managing partners were part of a team chartered with identifying and analyzing potentially disruptive technologies. For Verizon, they developed large-scale, potentially industry-altering products. Throughout, the partners worked on many development projects together, generating dozens of patents and patents pending, from networking technologies to audio services.

Xpresense is currently manufacturing and marketing its first product: WAG ™ (Wireless Audio Gesture™). The WAG is a novel wireless controller designed specifically for guitar effects, and which can be used by almost any performing artist to control a variety of effects devices. The WAG has the potential to redefine how artists play, compose, and interact with their audience.
